Hey There ! Allow me to introduce myself... Michelle Kempinski, owner of Kempinski Designs. Here are the professional stats. I have a diverse technical background (19 years of professional experience) in the fields of environmental health and safety, landscape architecture & site planning, project management, and management system development.  I hold a Masters of Science in Public Health (Environmental Sciences and Engineering) from UNC-Chapel Hill, a Masters of Landscape Architecture from the College of Design at North Carolina State University, and North Carolina & Virginia Landscape Architect Registrations. Combining these unique experiences and perspectives, I have infused this design practice with a creative focus on developing healthy environmental solutions to design challenges.  Kempinski Designs, LLC provides residential, institutional, non-profit, and commercial site planning and landscape design services. I appreciate the diversity of our local environment, sustainability values & practices, and the need for comfortable, accessible and interesting public & private spaces. I respect the beauty and value of our natural environment and native habitats. With this understanding and respect, I approach planning & design as a collaborative effort and professional commitment between the project owner, the design team, and the environment. There are potential challenges, constraints, and wonderful opportunities in any project, and I enjoy being a part of the creative process to successfully plan and develop interesting, beautiful, efficient, and most of all, functional designs.
